  1. Write your favorite quote from the provided list.

Most of us have had some experience with self-improvement efforts. My experience has taught me this about how people and organizations improve: the best place to look is for small changes we could make in things we do often. There is power in steadiness and repetition. And if we can be led by inspiration to choose the right small things to change, consistent obedience will bring great improvement.
                        – Elder Henry B. Eyring. “The Lord Will Multiply the Harvest.” 6 Feb. 1998.

  1. Write your feelings about family history work.

I feel that we can’t know who we are without knowing where we came from. Hopefully we can learn from the mistakes and triumphs of the past, apply them to our own lives and make them better.
Also no one should be forgotten.

  1. Define in writing a character trait that you desire to work on in order to realize more success in your future family history efforts.
Organization. If I can have more organization in my life then I can hope to have more quiet time to pursue family history. That or have older children.

  1. Write specific goals you feel to set for yourself concerning your future work in family history and temple service. Consider breaking the goals into short, medium, and long-term.
Short- FIND OUT MY GRANDMOTHER IN LAWS NAME! I’ve spent so much time on this during the semester it’s become a personal mission of mine.
Medium-  Find a copy of and read my grandfather’s family history book
Long- have a complete 10 generation chart for my son, it needs to include my husband’s crazy and disjointed family.

  1. Identify challenges that may derail your goals.
My family obligations, school, My husband’s family has so  many lies no one knows the truth any more.

  1. Make plans that will enable you to realize your goals. Don’t just identify what you want to do, also state how you will do it.
I don’t know how. I know I need to so I will.  I will try as many ways as it takes.
